When I installed Windows 10, my sound stopped working and when I went in to troubleshoot and add the drivers to try and get it working again, it would not install the drivers for the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio sound card. It tells me that a Digitally Signed copy is required and will not install it.
How can I get my sound card working again? You may also try installing the drivers in compatibility mode. Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists. Was this reply helpful?

Click restart You may get a warning The only time the sound stops working is when you install new drivers for something or updates and then you get the old digitally signed driver thing again stopping the Conexant from working again, so all you have to do is repeat this process Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
